Care Philosophy

We treat our hand patients as INDIVIDUALS with hand problems, not simply hand problems attached to individuals. Treatment is highly individualized. The doctor conducts a particularly detailed interview with each patient and strives to understand each patient individually, including their priorites, their concerns, and other factors in their life and backround that may affect how their treatment plan should be customized. The doctor also strives to emphasize options and alternatives to surgery when medically appropriate. He also strives to include the patient in the decision-making process when establishing a treatment plan.
